Exotic open garden raises funds for Alzheimer's Society

Prema Leathers opened her exotic garden to the Ipswich public on 5 August 2012 to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Prema Leathers opened her exotic garden to the Ipswich public on 5 August 2012 to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

The Open Garden event was held in Prema Leathers garden in Ipswich on 5 August. Prema has had a long experience of opening her beautiful garden to the public and raising money for charity. She grows everything from bananas to chillies and many other exotic plants.  

Over 100 enthusiastic people attended and over £300 was raised to support the Society.
