The Alzheimer’s Society's National Dementia Helpline is now open at weekends between 10am and 4pm, and has a new phone number.

New opening hours

Alzheimer's Society National Dementia Helpline is now open at weekends between 10am and 4pm.

The Helpline weekday opening hours are now 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

New number

We have moved to a new national helpline number - 0300 222 11 22.

Calls to 03 numbers cost no more than the national call rate and must also count towards any inclusive minutes in a phone contract. This rule applies to calls from any type of line including mobile, BT, other fixed line or payphone.

Megan Cruise, Advice Service Manager says:

'We are now making the National Dementia Helpline even more accessible by opening at weekends and having a new number. Now people can access the same level of information and support 7 days a week. The new number also means that the cost of calling the Helpline is lower. These are very exciting developments for this service.'
