Ilminster Ladies FC on their fancy dress pub crawl

The ladies reserves of Ilminster Football Club walked over seven miles in a sponsored pub crawl to raise money for the Society.

On 10 August the Ilminster Town Ladies FC organised a sponsored fancy-dress pub crawl in Somerset which raised over £750, this was then split between the club and Alzheimer's Society.

Mel Cullingford, manager of the team, said

'We walked the distance, starting at the Wyndham Arms in Ilton where the landlord donated £10, which was matched by The Five Dials, The Royal Oak and The Crown. Walking alone raised nearly £250! So thank you to everyone who stopped on the way round or to those in the pubs who put the money in!'

Alzheimer's Society would like to thank everyone involved in organising and supporting the event for their support. For more information about fundraising or volunteering opportunities please contact your local Community Fundraiser.
