Midsummer Memories raise over £8,000 in fundraising event for Alzheimer's Society

Memories were made that will last a lifetime after a successful fundraising event at the exclusive Webbsland Vineyard raised over £8,000 for Alzheimer's Society.
Sue Musslewhite and her dedicated friends and family from the Wickham area have rallied together to put on an glittering evening of Midsummer Memories. The event was held on Saturday 23 June at the beautiful and very exclusive Webbsland Vineyard and has raised over £8,000. The evening included a luxurious home made five course meal, wine tasting lead by a wine expert and performances from local sopranos and musicians including Andrew Knights who runs our Alzheimer's Society Music Groups in Hythe, New Milton and Romsey.

As a charity we rely on events like these to raise vital funds to support people to live well with dementia today and funds research to find a cure for tomorrow.'We believe it is so important to raise awareness of dementia and to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society to fund local services and research in order to support people living with dementia and their loved ones.'
