Alzheimer's Society chosen as one of Waitrose's national causes

Alzheimer’s Society has been selected as one of three charities to benefit from the Waitrose Community Matters online project.

Throughout the months of June, July and August Waitrose shoppers who order their shopping online get to vote for one of three charities. At the end of the partnership a donation of £25,000 will be distributed between the three charities, with the share to each determined by the number of the votes each gets.

Ray Nash from Alzheimer's Society Regional Corporate team, who are managing the partnership, said:

'We are really pleased to be partnering Waitrose in this way. This gives all of our supporters who shop online at Waitrose the chance to vote for us and directly affect the proportion of the donation we receive at the end of the partnership.'

So if you do any shopping online with Waitrose before the end of August make sure you help us in the vote to get the biggest share possible!
