Wragge & Co cycle from London to Paris to support Alzheimer's Society

Published 14 May 2012

Wragge & Co, a UK headquartered international law firm, have chosen to support Alzheimer’s Society as their charity of the year 2012.

As part of their fundraising efforts, 14 intrepid cyclists from their Birmingham and London offices will be setting off on 15 May from London and cycling the 300 miles to their Paris office.

The team are hoping to arrive at their office on the Champs Élysées by 4pm on Friday 18 May, in time for a welcome reception. Their 3.5 day ride will take them through south east England to Dover, from Calais down through Arras, past the First World War memorial at Thiepval, on through Compiegne and down into Paris.

The team is very close to its £10,000 target through individual sponsorship requests, cake sales and lunchtime indoor turbo training sessions, but they would love to smash through that target and raise even more!

Ray Nash, Senior Regional Corporate Executive said:

'We are delighted that Wragge have chosen Alzheimer's Society as their charity of the year for 2012. £10,000 is an amazing amount to have raised so far and will help provide essential support for people with dementia and all the people that care for them.'
