Festive Fayre events rally local community together to fight against dementia

Hillier Garden Centre Romsey hosted two festive fundraising events, held on Thursday 1 and Thursday 8 December in aid of Alzheimer's Society, raising £521.
The events were organised by Amy Bennett and were packed with festive fun. The public enjoyed entertainment from local artists and choir groups, Christmas workshops, games and refreshments.
The event was kindly supported by students and teachers of Wellow Primary School, North Baddesley Junior School, The Mountbatten School and Awbridge Primary School who provided fantastic entertainment at the event.
FA Cup-winning Manager, and Alzheimer's Society Ambassador, Lawrie McMenemy attended one of the events to show his support for the Society. Lawrie was very entertaining and certainly got the public into the festive spirit.
Hillier's Garden Centres are supporting Alzheimer's Society through a two year 'charity of the year' partnership.
Alzheimer's Society would like to thank everyone involved in organising and supporting the events for their hard work and support. For more information about fundraising or volunteering opportunities please contact your local Community Fundraiser.
