Blood Brothers beauties bare all for Alzheimer’s Society

The cheeky project was organised by music legend Lyn Paul, who 'taught the world to sing' in the 1970s with her band the New Seekers and then went on to star in a huge range of West End shows, including Blood Brothers.

Lyn has spent months persuading past and present female stars of the show, including Joanne Zorian, who has been in the show for more than 20 years, and X Factor star Niki Evans, to pose nude for a cause close to her heart. Last year, Lyn's beloved mother passed away with Alzheimer's disease.

Lyn said:

'Thanks so much to the beautiful girls who agreed to have their photos taken in this calendar. It took some nerve, and a lot of wine, but it was worth it!

'I lost my lovely Mum to Alzheimer's and I can't explain the heartbreak the disease causes, not only for the person diagnosed but also for the families. Watching this disease slowly take hold was the most devastating and cruellest thing to watch and experience, especially for my Dad who was her carer and our rock.

'All the money raised from sales of this calendar will go to Alzheimer's Society, who provide support and advice for people with the condition, and fund research which could one day cure this terrible disease.'
