Q: I need a letter (letter of authorisation) from the charity to confirm that I am a bona fide fundraiser. How do I get this?
This letter is often requested by companies when you contact them for assistance with fundraising eg. permission to have a collection, requesting raffle prizes.
All events except for runs
We can provide a letter of authorisation to you once we have sent you a fundraising pack. If you have not yet requested this please complete the online form or call 0870 417 0192 giving your contact details, date of your event and any details about the event eg. where it is taking place and what kind of event it is. Once we have logged your event details on our database we can then issue you with a letter of authorisation. To request this please email events@alzheimers.org.uk making sure you include your name, postcode and daytime contact number.
Running events
If you are taking part in a run you need to complete the running events form to let the running team know that you have your own place. Once you have your fundraising pack you can then email us to request a letter of authorisation.
