Dementia Knowledge Centre
Our aim is to improve the quality of life of people with dementia by encouraging learning and best practice. We welcome enquiries from health and social care professionals, researchers, trainers and students.
The DKC collection includes published information (print, and electronic resources) covering medical information, health care, social care, housing, design, therapies, novels, personal accounts and much more.
What the Dementia Knowledge Centre offers:
Enquiry serviceA telephone and email service is provided for anyone with a professional interest in dementia-related information. NB: We aim to respond to email and postal enquiries within five working days. To help us deal with your enquiry effectively, please ensure that you include both a telephone number and a contact address.

Dementia Knowledge Centre is open 10.00am- 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Visitors are welcome by appointment. Please telephone 0845 130 2545 or email to make a booking.

Access to Photocopier
Photocopier facilities are available for visitors to use in the Dementia Knowledge Centre. We don't make any specific charges but ask that you become a member of Alzheimer's Society or make a donation to support the work we do on behalf of people with dementia.
Alzheimer's Society produces a variety of factsheets on specific dementia-related topics.
