Newly funded research
Alzheimer's Society provides funding for research into the cause, cure, care and prevention of dementia.
Grant applications are reviewed by the QRD network and subjected to rigorous peer review. This ensures that Alzheimer's Society only supports cutting-edge research that could have the biggest impact on the lives of people with dementia.
In October 2009 Alzheimer's Society awarded funding for five new Project Grants. Earlier this year we also awarded one Dissemination grant and one Fellowship grant.
