Carol Singing
Raise money by Carol singing this Christmas
The Christmas season is almost upon us so why not fundraise for Alzheimer's Society by singing your favourite Christmas Carols?
Whether you are a tenor or tone deaf, gather your friends and family and join in the seasonal festivities for a worthy cause.
How to organise a Carol singing fundraising event
- Form a carolling group with your family, friends or colleagues. You don't need to be fantastic singers to join in, and you can play instruments if singing isn't your thing.
- Decide on the type of carolling event you would like to organise. You could hold a carol concert in a performance venue, or a carol singing collection.
- Read our factsheets on organising a Benefit Concert, or a Carol Singing Collection to help you plan your event and ensure that you are fundraising legally.
- Get permission from the local council or the managing authorities of any private property and agree a date and time to sing. Ensure that you have agreement in writing. We can provide you with a letter of authorisation to fundraise if you need one.
- Let us know about your event by filling in our online form. You will then receive a fundraising pack to help you get started.
- Order buckets or tins to collect your monies, using the materials order form from your fundraising pack or by contacting the events team on 020 7423 3653 or events@alzheimers.org.uk
- Sing your hearts out and have fun

After your carol singing event, please send in a cheque made out to Alzheimer's Society, together with a copy of the donation form from your fundraising pack.
Remember to let us know about your event by filling in our online form
A copy of the donation form is also available to download.
Your festive fundraising will help us to continue our work supporting people with dementia and those who care for them.
Thank you for your support.
