After your event
Once you've completed your event your attention will no doubt turn to collecting in and counting the money you have raised. We have written a page of tips for collecting sponsorship money and donations to help you. The notes include some good ideas on the easiest ways to collect the money in.
Please ensure that all cheques are made payable to 'Alzheimer's Society.'
Gift Aid
The Society can turn every £1 donated into £1.25 at no cost to you, your sponsors or the Society.
We can claim Gift Aid from HM Revenue & Customs on most donations or sponsorship. In order to claim Gift Aid sponsors need to tick the relevant box on the sponsorship form and complete their FULL NAME & HOME ADDRESS. Please let your sponsors know that they will not receive any unsolicited mail from us. For further information please read our page on Gift Aid.
Your donations
Once you have collected all the funds you will need to send it to the events team at the Society. Please ensure that you send all donations with a donation form. We will send you one after your event date has passed but if you need one now please download the form here. Please ensure that you complete all the details on the form.
