International Conference of Alzheimer's Disease International
Date: 7-10 March 2012
Location: ExCel London, E16 1XL
Alzheimer's Society UK is delighted to be co-hosting the 27th International Conference of Alzheimer's Disease International, 7-10 March 2012 at ExCel London.
London in 2012 will be an exciting city as it prepares for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Olympic motto Faster, Higher, Stronger, reflects three very important areas of our cause: the speed with which we need to move to find a cure; our increasingly higher aspirations for those living with the condition and how much stronger we become by working together as a worldwide movement.
Parallel sessions at the conference will focus on three themes: Science, Fact, Fiction, with all three strands brought together into plenary sessions and debates that concern us all.
We are particularly proud that this year's conference will be the first of its kind to have sessions led by people living with dementia, ensuring that those with first hand experience are at the heart of discussions.
