If you only run one marathon in your lifetime, the Virgin London Marathon should be the one. You'll enjoy an amazing atmosphere and enthusiastic crowd support from the one million spectators that line the course each year.

The 26.2 mile course takes in all of London's best landmarks and even finishes infront of Buckingham Palace - it really is the best way to see our capital city.

Our deadline for awarding guaranteed places for the 2010 Virgin London Marathon has now passed,  but if you would like to receive information on how to gain your place for 2011, please complete our Virgin London Marathon 2011 online enquiry form.

Already have your place? Join the Team

If you have already gained your place in the race directly with the race organisers, we would love to welcome you onto the Alzheimer's Society Team.

As a part of running for Alzheimer's Society you will receive tips on both training and fundraising, and race-day info, to make sure you have everything you need to prepare for the best race on the planet. 

You will also receive an invite to our exclusive Virgin London Marathon Training Day, as well as our marathon day Runner's Reception, where you'll be able to start your recovery straight after finishing, with a massage a bite to eat.
