The difference your fundraising can make

Your swim could have a life-changing impact for people affected by dementia:

£100 can provide our lab with 269 DNA duplicators. DNA samples are often incredibly small. However, researchers can use a DNA duplicator to help copy the DNA strands, giving researchers larger samples to study.

£250 can fund the work of a Telephone Dementia Adviser for two days. Open seven days a week, the Dementia Connect Support Line is there for people whenever they need it. Dementia Advisers will provide a listening ear, specialist guidance, and support people in accessing services that are right for them.

£500 can cover the funds of registering 13 people with our Dementia Voice platform. This means they can tell their story, their way. Whether this is through campaigning work, speaking at events, or sharing their experiences in media, this platform means people have a better understanding of life with dementia.

With aching arms and pride in your heart, your unbelievable efforts will help us end the devastation caused by dementia.

Once you have a plan for your swim, follow the 4 simple steps above and we'll be there to support your fundraising along the way.
