Start at the home of Team GB cycling – the Manchester Velodrome. Feel the adrenaline rise as 500 riders line up alongside ready to take on a challenge that few will forget. 250 miles of tarmac lies ahead, London’s Victoria Park close to the Olympic Park is the finish, a celebration awaits at the end of an epic journey. This is not a race, its an endurance challenge – and you've got just 24 hours!

If you are funding your own place and would like to raise money for Alzheimer's Society, please complete our own place form for your fundraising pack. This will give you access to fundraising materials such as fundraising buckets, sponsor forms etc.

A non-stop ride - through day and night in groups of pelotons - with pace riders and support to get you to the finish line in time. The Manchester to London challenge takes on a 250 mile route with support teams in front, behind and alongside you as you speed across the country all provided by Action Challenge:

  • Start: The Velodrome, Manchester - Saturday morning - 8th June
  • Finish: Victoria Park, East London - Sunday morning
  • 6 stage route, each approximately 40-45 miles
  • Energy snack stops, 2 hot meal stops
  • Take on the ride as an individual
  • Ride with a partner, or your own team to support each other
  • Fully signed route, maps & GPS downloads
  • A hero's celebration as you cross the finish line in London!
