Dementia Cafés
Dementia Cafés enable people with dementia and their carers to socialise in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment. As well as a host of fun and engaging activities, Dementia Cafés give both carers and people with dementia a chance to share advice and talk to others with similar problems.
Led by qualified specialists and supported by local volunteers, these regular social groups help to improve well being and reduce isolation for whole families. New friendships are often formed and people who attend leave the sessions feeling like they have a better quality of life.
