Signposting for legal advice

Our Helpline Advisers do not offer professional legal advice. We may however signpost callers to other organisations for this advice, including:

Some of these organisations will charge for their services. Alzheimer's Society National Dementia Helpline signposts callers to these organisations because we believe that they are most likely to provide a legal service which meets the needs of people with dementia and their families. Alzheimer's Society receives no fee for doing this.

In signposting we are not 'recommending' a provider and we give no guarantee as to the quality of service which an individual solicitor or lawyer will give. Other organisations, solicitors and law firms not listed above may also provide a high quality service. You can find a local solicitor on The Law Society website.
