Known as the People's Park, Saltwell Park plays host to the Tyneside Memory Walk. Encompassing 55 acres of landscape, with ornamental and woodland gardens, boating lake, sports facilities, bowling greens, play areas, animal house, maze, coffee shop, famous flowers, education centre and the beautiful Victorian Saltwell Towers.
