Giveacar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that raises money for charity by accepting donations of old cars.

Launched in January 2010, Giveacar was the first service of its kind in the UK and allows charities to tap into a brand new source of funds. At the same time it gives car owners a simple way to get rid of their unwanted cars and put them to good use, raising money for their favourite charities.

Giveacar has been a great success for Alzheimer's Society so far. To date we have raised over £10,000 and you could help us raise even more. Donate your old car and begin helping us in our fight against dementia.

How to get started

In three simple steps you can begin helping to improve the lives of people affected by dementia and get rid of that unwanted car.

A tow truck usually arrives within 1 to 3 days to pick up your car.
Your donation is made. Your car is sent to scrap or auction.

Giveacar does the rest, donating all the proceeds after administrative costs to us for every car that you donate.
