Charlie Hardwick

Biography

Charlie Hardwick is a Tyneside-born actor currently starring as Val Pollard in ITV 1's Emmerdale.

Charlie is also well known for her role in the children's TV drama, Byker Grove and her film appearances include Purely Belter and critically acclaimed drama, The Scar.

Charlie has supported Alzheimer's Society during Dementia Awareness Week and has attended the Society's Tyneside Memory Walk in 2010 and 2011.

'Memory Walk gave us the opportunity to really make a difference to those who are living with dementia in the North East, and every penny raised by the walk will be used to support local Alzheimer's Society services across the region in Newcastle, Gateshead, and North and South Tyneside.

'It was an opportunity for the whole family to come together, have fun, and raise money to fight dementia, so I was pleased to be part of it.'
