How do I send my Dementia Awareness Week fundraising to Alzheimer's Society?
Q Can I donate online?
A Yes, just follow these steps:
1. Go to www.justgiving.com/alzheimerssoc
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your page.
NB: Alzheimer's Society is notified of all Justgiving payments weekly. These are processed and added to your fundraising total.
Q What should I do with cheques payable to Alzheimer's Society?
A If you are fundraising offline, encourage your sponsors to donate using cheques or Charity Aid Foundation (CAF) vouchers payable to Alzheimer's Society. Please send them direct to the Society along with a completed donation form. We'll bank all cheques and vouchers then post or email a receipt to you, and record the amount against your name on our database.
Q What if people give me cash?
A If you receive sponsorship in cash, you should deposit it in your bank and send the Society a personal cheque with a completed copy of the donation form.
Q Can I or my sponsors donate using a credit card?
A If a sponsor prefers to use a debit or credit card, direct them to your Justgiving page. If you would like to make a credit card payment, you could also complete your details on the donation form.
Q How will my money be spent?
A We are very grateful for your contribution and we will spend it where it is needed the most to improve the lives of people with dementia. Alternatively, if you would like your donation to help fund services in your area please inform your local community fundraiser, or tick the box on the donation form.
Q Will I get a receipt?
A Yes we will acknowledge all of your fundraising.
If you have any questions please call our Supporter Care team on 0845 306 0898.
