Champions in dementia
A comprehensive and inspiring development programme delivered as six workshop days over three months.
The programme is designed to equip key individuals within a dementia care setting with the skills, knowledge and understanding to enhance current practice. It can be delivered in a care setting or a community setting, and is designed to equip groups of 10-12 key individuals with the confidence and freedom to improve day-to-day practice and support colleagues in building a strong culture of person-centred care.

- Reflecting on practice
- The difference between institutional and inclusive approaches to dementia care
- What makes a good person-centred leader
This is an advanced development programme and all those who participate should have a basic level of dementia knowledge, and experience of working with people with dementia in a social care setting.
