Our favourite fundraising ideas
We may have waved goodbye to summer until 2011, but the autumn and winter are fantastic times for fundraising. Spooky Halloween frights, spectacular fireworks nights and festive Christmas delights - there are plenty of fun ways to raise money this season.
Here are a few of our favourites...
- Organise a zombie pub crawl collection - get your scariest fancy dress out and trick or treat the regulars at your favourite local haunts.
- Host a fireworks night party on 5 November - invite your friends, family and neighbours and sell toffee apples, hot dogs and mulled wine.
- Get into the festive spirit with a carol singing fundraiser in December - sell mince pies and raffle off a Christmas pudding or Turkey.
