Biography

John Altman will be familiar to many as EastEnders villain 'nasty' Nick Cotton.

John actively supports Alzheimer's Society as  his father developed dementia during the final months of his life.

John has ran the Bupa Great Yorkshire Run, launched a flagship Memory Walk as well as attended other fundraisers on behalf of the Society.

'I lost my father to dementia so know what a cruel disease it is and the devastating impact it has on families which is why I'm running for Alzheimer's Society.  Within 20 years almost 1 million of us will have dementia so it's vital to raise funds now.'
