Arlene Phillips

Biography

English choreographer, theatre director, talent scout and former dancer, Arlene was also a talent judge on the BBC's hugely popular Strictly Come Dancing.

A respected choreographer of numerous West End and Broadway musicals, films and television shows, Arlene has recently appeared on the dance talent show, So You Think You Can Dance?

Arlene, who is an ambassador for the Society, cared for her father when he developed Alzheimer's disease and has spoken of the difficulties faced by the person with dementia and their carers.

Determined to raise awareness of dementia, Arlene has fronted the Society's Dementia Awareness Week.
