Both of Tony's parents, Leslie and Phyllis, died with dementia. Tony filmed the final days of his mother's life in a powerfully moving documentary called Me and My Mum.

'People with dementia are too often deprived of the right to a decent quality of life. Shamefully, this is not at the top of the national agenda, but it does matter to organisations like the Alzheimer's Society.'
