Richard McCourt is an actor and presenter best known as one half of the very successful Bafta Award-winning comic duo, Dick and Dom.
Richard's Mum, Helen, passed away in 2010, aged 64, after a long battle with Pick's Disease, a form of dementia.
Richard became an ambassador to the Society in 2007 and is actively involved in fundraisers. He has cycled from London to Paris (twice!), trekked along the Great Wall of China, ran the London Marathon and is a regular at his local Memory Walk.
'I cared for my Mum who had dementia and understand how hard it is to look after someone with the condition.
