Richard McCourt
Biography
Richard McCourt is an actor and presenter best known as one half of the very successful comic duo, Dick and Dom.
As well as presenting Bafta award-winning Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow on BBC One and co-presenting Sky One's quiz show Are You Smarter Than a 10 Year Old? with his sidekick, Dominic Wood, Richard's credits also include regular fundraising support and performances on BBC's Comic Relief and a recent appearance in the film, Horrid Henry.
Richard has personal experience of dementia through caring for a family member.
Richard became an ambassador to the Society in 2007 and is actively involved in fundraisers. He has cycled from London to Paris (twice!), trekked along the Great Wall of China and is a regular runner in the Bupa Great Runs in Sheffield and Manchester. In 2010 he ran the Virgin London Marathon for Alzheimer's Society alongside his sidekick, Dom.
