Our People
The Research Advisory Committee is made up of leading dementia scientists who advise the Society on the direction and focus of the research strategy.
Research Network volunteers play a crucial role in the grant selection and monitoring process. Their knowledge and passion ensures our research funding is allocated to projects that address the real needs and concerns of people with dementia and their carers.
Our community of funded scientists are carrying out essential research into Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The research team maintains a close relationship with our scientists. Many of them volunteer their expertise for the Society, for example in writing for our publications or speaking at Society events.
