Alex GunzAfter having spent nine years working for several investment banks in the City, I decided to have a career break and return to university to complete a second degree. Between studying, I was keen to use some of the skills I had acquired during my time in the City by volunteering for a charity, and the Alzheimer's Society was the logical choice for me.

Ria FeltonI first found out about the Alzheimer's Society after my husband was diagnosed at the age of 56 with Alzheimer's disease. It took six years for my husband to receive a diagnosis having consulted our GP and privately  a psychiatrist and  a psychologist. During this time as a result of all the stress and worry about my husband I suffered a heart attack.
