Exploring dementia care training skills

This course is a stand alone introduction to the basic concepts of dementia care training and an introduction to facilitation skills. Being a dementia care trainer requires an understanding of the ethics, values and principles of dementia care training, the development of skills in facilitation and a clear grasp of person centred care in practice. This workshop will provide an overview of best practice in dementia care training.
