Victorian Tea Party
Impress your friends and family by making some of the delicious Victorian picnic recipes featured in Home Farmer magazine and hold an enjoyable fundraising event this summer.
You can make all kinds of bread, preserves, cooked and cured meats and some of the most delicious sweets imaginable!
Ask for a donation from everyone who comes and you will have the recipe for a fun fundraising event.
Next steps
Set a date. Once you have done this contact us for a fundraising pack.
Find a suitable venue. If you are planning a picnic, do have a back up in case it rains!
Decide on your menu.
Send out your invitations. It would be nice to mention some of the tempting goodies you are offering. Don't forget to include an RSPV so that you know exactly how many you will be catering for.
Prepare your food. Make sure you know how to do this safely and hygienically by checking out the information on the food standards agency website www.eatwill.gov.uk/keepingfoodsage
Hold your picnic or Tea Party and have fun with friends and family.
After your successful event send in your cheque made out to Alzheimer's Society together with a copy of the donation form from your fundraising pack.
Your fundraising will help us to continue our work to support people with dementia and those who care for them.
