Can Gerry Robinson fix dementia care homes

The series is now over
Businessman Sir Gerry Robinson will return in a new series on BBC Two on Tuesday 8 and Tuesday 15 December 2010 in which he tries to turn around three struggling care homes. Alzheimer's Society supported the programme, working closely with the BBC to offer information, support and training.
One in three people over 65 will die with dementia and people with dementia are likely to end up in one of the country's care homes. Alzheimer's Society is calling for mandatory dementia training for all care staff, with an end to the idea of the traditional 'old folks' home.
