• Borehamwood Dementia Cafe
  Borehamwood Dementia Cafe for people with dementia and their carers to come and socialise, listen to presentations and join in with activities. Held at the Costa Coffee Shop, 1st Floor in Tesco Extra, Borehamwood, on the third Tuesday of the month between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm.
• Carer Support
  Our Dementia Support Workers can talk to you on the telephone or can visit you at home to offer support and information, or you can make an appointment to visit the office.
• Carers Support Group Hemel Swan Ct
  An opportunity to talk with healthcare professionals and share experiences with other carers and to listen to visiting speakers. Held the first Monday of the month. Please contact the office for further details.
• Couples Support Group
  If you are a couple living and coping with dementia, come and join our friendly and informal lunchtime meetings at various local venues. Support groups are a valuable opportunity for people facing similar challenges, to share their experiences and support each other. We meet twice a month. Please contact the office for more information.

  Full Dementia Support Worker Service
• Hemel Friendship Group
  A Friendship Group for carers of people with dementia. Carers are also welcome to bring the person they care for with them. Held the first Wednesday of each month between 10 am and 12 pm at the Community Hall, Hemel Hempstead.
• Hemel Hempstead Dementia Cafe
  Dementia Cafes provide information and peer support which aim to put people with dementia and their carers in control of their lives so they are able to live well with dementia. Held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm at St Mary & St Joseph's Parish Centre.
• Information Provision
  Information on Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. We can also give out information on where to get help with day centres, benefits, respite care and home based respite. Contact the office for further information.
• Meals Out
  Meals out with carers and people with dementia at different venues and dates locally. A chance to chat and be with others in an informal atmosphere. Please call the office for more information.
• Outings & Day Trips-Other
  Various trips and outings arranged throughout the year, organised by the Society. Our outings and events complement our established support services, helping to provide social support/interaction, and share experiences. Please contact our office for further details of our outings trips and events.
• Respite Care Scheme
  A home based respite service is available. Please contact the service office for further information.
• Singing For The Brain - Hemel Hempstead
  A relaxed and friendly group activity which brings the joy and stimulation of singing to those with the memory problems associated with dementia. Through song and gentle movements.

• The Tring Dementia Cafe
  Dementia cafes provide information and peer support which aim to put people with dementia and their carers in control of their lives so they are able to live well with dementia. Held at the Tring Community Centre, Silk Mill Way, Tring HP23 5EP on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm.

  Watford Dementia Cafe, open to people with dementia and carers to socialise, listen to presentations and join in with activities. Held at Stanborough Centre, St Albans Road, Garston WD25 9JL on the first Tuesday of the month between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm.
