"The BBC Lab UK experiment to test the benefit of brain training is extremely exciting, and has the potential to make an enormous contribution to the 'brain health' of the nation. We want to find out if brain training really works and - if it does - what type of brain training is most effective."
Professor Clive Ballard is
the Director of Research for the Alzheimer's Society.
Alzheimer's Society is running
the first ever online clinical trial with the BBC looking at the benefits of
brain training.
The trial is already the largest of its kind but we still need more people over 60 prepared to take part and help us answer important questions about whether brain training should be included in research into prevention of dementia.
Although the trial is scheduled for run for one year, the recruitment phase will be ending soon.
Please think about anyone you might know who would consider getting involved in this research project and then contact them either via email or by using this online form.
