Become a member of the Alzheimer's Society

The Alzheimer's Society is a membership organisation. It has over 25,000 members, of all ages and from all social backgrounds. Some are actively involved in branch activities, while others simply wish to support the Society and keep in touch with what's happening in the fight against dementia.

To join the Society print out a membership form and send it by post.

Simply by joining the Society, you will help to ensure that its work expands and continues, helping to provide immediate support to over 700,000 people with dementia in the UK, as well as their carers and families.

As a member, you will be kept informed about the work of the Society, from campaigns organised at a national level, to the running of care services and operation of the national Alzheimer's helpline. You will also be kept up to date on the progress being made in different areas of medical and social research.

Membership is open to everyone. There is no fixed subscription. Please give as generously as you can. For carers and people with dementia who are unable to contribute financially, membership is free.

Members receive:

  • a monthly magazine, Living with Dementia.
  • a membership card
  • a window sticker
  • a publications list and gift catalogues.

For more information about membership, contact the membership officer on 0845 306 0868 (local rate in the UK) or email membership@alzheimers.org.uk.
