Volunteers

Volunteers are always welcome to join us and to help in many varying ways such as;

  • Transport

  • Coffee making

  • Assisting with activities such as Carpet bowls, Ten pin bowling, etc

  • Setting up displays for Road shows and Awareness weeks

  • Street collections

  • Office Cleaning

  • Fundraising

  • Befriending (visits)

  • Committee member

About Us

 

Alzheimer's Society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Many of our 25,000 members have personal experience of dementia, as carers, health professionals or people with dementia themselves, and their experiences help to inform our work.


 

How often you volunteer your services can be flexible to your needs and age,  education and background are irrelevant.  We will offer you support and general guidance on aspects of being a volunteer.

Out of pocket expenses will be paid.
