Welcome to the Peterborough Branch website

Peterborough Cathedral

At the Peterborough branch we aim to give you support and advice on all forms of dementia and the sources of help available in Peterborough.

We cover the Greater Peterborough area which goes North as far as Glinton, East to Stanground, North East to Thorney, South to Yaxley & Stilton and West to Elton.

We operate an 'Open House' policy on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, for advice and information.  You can either call us on 01733 893853 or call into our offices in Manor House Street, Central Peterborough. We are also open on a Monday and Wednesday morning but without prior arrangement we cannot guarantee someone will be available at all times, should you wish to make an appointment to see a member of staff on any day please call 01733 893853.  We are happy to visit you at home or see you in the office at a mutually convenient time.

If you are interested in working for the Alzheimer's Society, follow this link to look at latest vacancies nationwide. , or if you are interested in working for the Peterborough Branch check on the What's new? page to see if any vacancies are available.

At the Peterborough Branch we offer a Carer's group at our premises in Peterborough. We also have a support clinic aimed at helping people with dementia.  At the clinic there are healthcare professionals available to give advice and information.  For more information please call Kevin Bowyer, Branch Manager on 01733 893853.

We run regular outings and have a varied choice of leisure activities.  Contact Jane or Hazel on 01733 893853 for more details.

Our branch is pleased to be able to offer an Advocare Service including a 'Pathways for Men' Group.  We are very pleased to announce a new Ladies' Group called 'Pathways for Women'.  Contact Kevin Bowyer on 01733 893853 for more details.

Pals is a scheme that enables people who are still physically fit, but who experience some degree of mental disability due to dementia, to continue to enjoy leisure activities with the support of a 'Pal'.  Call Kevin Bowyer on 01733 893853 for more information.

Volunteers are always welcome to help with Transport, Street Collections, Coffee Mornings, Activities, Fundraising and much more!  If you are interested in helping please contact Kevin Bowyer on 01733 893853.
