• 'Moving On' Group

  This group is for former carers and carers of people in long term care who may need support ro regain some self-confidence and empowerment following a lengthy caring role

• Coffee morning

  Coffee morning at branch office. Informal social event and information point

• Consett lunch club

  Informal social group with lunch for carers, former carers and people with dementia.

• Consett Support Group

  Group offering emotional support and information to people with dementia

• Dementia Support Unit

  Provision of support and information to carers of people with dementia. Service also offers welfare benefits support and signposting

• Dementia/Information Provision and Support Unit

  Provision of information about dementia and caring issues to carers, people with dementia, members of the general public and professionals working in health and social care including private and other voluntary agencies.

• Derwent clinic support group

  Group offering emotional support and information to carers of people with dementia. Run jointly with local Memory Service nurse

• Diary Dates and News

  Diary Dates and news about services, branch information re: forthcoming events etc., and Alzheimer's Society information.

• Families Living with Dementia

  Support and information provision for people of all ages with dementia accompanied by members of their family and their friends.

• Home Support Service

  Service provides short break respite care for carers of people with dementia in their own home whilst the person with dementia particpates in activities or hobbies

• Out and About Group

  Bus trips and outings within office hours and occasional evening outings.

• Stanley coffee morning

  Coffee morning held at the Gallery cafe, Lamplight theatre, Stanley.

• Stanley lunch club

  Informal social event with lunch for carers, former carers and people with dementia

• Stanley Support Group

  Group offering emotional support and information to carers of people with dementia
