Welcome!

Welcome to the Berwick and District Branch Web pages, hosted by our National Office website.  We can give you support and advice on Alzheimer's Disease and all forms of Dementia, as well as sources of help in Berwick and the surrounding area.

Working out of our office at 45 Castlegate, in Berwick upon Tweed, we can be contacted Monday to Friday during office hours.  Our contact number is 01289 306040 where either Jackie or Thomas will be pleased to offer advice or assist you with general or specific enquiries.  At all other times we are able to take messages on our answer phone, alternatively we can be contacted by Fax on; 01289 306040 or by e-mail on bdalzsoc@btconnect.com

Here at the Branch we offer a range of additional services, for information on these please go to our branch services page.  All are welcome to drop into our office.  However, it would be best to telephone in advance in case we are out on Project business.

The Berwick office of the Alzheimer's Society

There is limited parking available outside the office - however, there are plenty of spaces within easy walking distance.  We hope you will enjoy visiting our web pages, where you can find out about branch news and volunteering opportunities which we have available at the present time.

You can also return to the Alzheimer’s Society’s main page for further information and assistance.

If you have any comments about the Berwick and District Branch’s web pages, or if you would like to receive a copy of our quarterly Newsletter by post or would like to join us as a member at the Branch, then please contact either:

Jackie Courtney, Project Development Co-ordinator, or
Thomas Christie, Administration Officer.

All of our services are free, however we do like to encourage Branch Membership wherever possible.  Donations and subscriptions can be kept to a minimum, and membership of the Branch and Society is free upon request for Carers of those with Alzheimer’s Disease or Dementia.

Please ask for further information.
