Every Thursday from 10.00 at:

Glastonbury Court
Glastonbury Road
Bury St Edmunds
Suffolk IP33 2EX
Meeting at the De-Caf

The De-Caf is aimed at people with dementia and their carers.
To give people with dementia and their carers an opportunity to spend time with people in the same situation, in a relaxed atmosphere.
We know that people in the early stages of dementia will especially benefit from attending as they will be able to receive advice, information and support with access to professionals.
It is an opportunity for both the person with dementia and their carer to do something together and to make separate friendships.
It is planned people will participate in ownership and running of their cafe which will be staffed by volunteers.
To help prevent and reduce isolation for people with dementia and their carers.
Referral is through Health and Social Care, other Voluntary agencies and co-ordinated by the Alzheimer's Society.
Disabled facilities are available; however we do not provide staff to assist with personal care.
We are unable to provide transport or parking at Glastonbury Court - however the area is on a bus route and 'Dial-a-Ride' is available.
A joint venture between:
Suffolk County Council
Suffolk Mental Health Partnership Trust
and co-ordinated by
West Suffolk Alzheimer's Society
