  • Branch newsletter

    Bi-monthly newsletter providing information about branch activities and other items of interest.

  • Carer support group (first Friday)

    Provision of regular support group for people caring for/supporting someone with dementia

  • Carer support group (third Friday)

    Provision of regular support group for those caring for spouse/partner with dementia in long-term care of those recently bereaved

  • Caring fund

    Small fund for one-off grants to support people with dementia and their carers at times of crisis/extreme hardship.

  • Community Outreach Service (Carer's Grant)

    Provision of a community based dementia support service for younger people with dementia, in order to provide their carer(s) with a break.

  • Day Care Services for Younger People with Dementia

    Provision of a citywide daycare service from two bases, from which younger people with dementia are able to continue normal daily acitivites.

  • Dementia advice and support service

    Provision of advice and support for people with dementia and their carers, in the client's own home or other locations. Such support may include assistance with completing benefits forms or support in accessing services.

  • Dementia Cafe

    Monthly Cafe event providing information, advice and support to people with dementia, carers, family and friends in an informal setting.

  • Holiday fund

    Small fund for limited grants towards holiday costs, to support people with dementia and their carers at times of crisis.extreme harship.

  • Information service

    Provision of information, advice and support on all forms of dementia.

  • Outings for People with dementia and carers

    Provision of branch outings, accompanied by staff, to provide social/emotional support to people with a diagnosis of dementia and those who are caring for them.
