Services offered

  • Caring with Confidence

    Information courses for new carers held several times a year. The sessions cover a wide range of topics that will help and support carers and their families. Contact the Branch for specific dates and availability.

  • Information Provision

    Provides the first point of contact by offering a mix of information packs, leaflets and publications followed by an onward referral to a Branch Support Worker. Home visits and information on support groups will be provided

  • Outreach

    The Branch provides a point of contact for carers. Sympathetic and informed listeners, can support and inform on all aspects of dementia. As part of this service we offer home visits, completion of carer's assessments and telephone support. We also provide information on where and how to obtain welfare assistance and how to obtain state benefits.

  • Pub Lunches

    A programme of pub lunches for all carers and cared for to attend. An opportunity to enjoy a meal and social interaction with people in similar circumstances. Held in Huntingdon, St Neots and St Ives once a month. Please contact the Branch for details.

  • Support Groups

    Held in Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives and Ramsey. These are monthly support groups for people with dementia and their carers. Information on all aspects of dementia and caring for someone with dementia is provided. Please call the Branch for details.
